Daily standings use complete closing-price files imported and validated by a MarketPickr administrator. Prices are split-adjusted and exclude ordinary dividends. Before a winner is confirmed, MarketPickr manually verifies the relevant opening and closing values against Nasdaq or NYSE official closing records and corrects the final standings if needed.
